    ٧٠ - (م د ت س) حَيَّان بن حُصَيْن أبو الهياج الأسدي الكوفي والد منصور وجرير. خرج الحاكم حديثه في «صحيحه» (¬١). وقال ابن خلفون في كتاب «الثقات»: حيان بن حصين بن مالك. وقال العجلي (¬٢): تابعي ثقة. وكذا قاله أبو عمر ابن عبد البر في كتاب «الاستغنا» (¬٣) قال: وهو كاتب عمار. وكذا ذكره النسائي في كتاب «الكنى» عن ابن المديني. وقال مسلم في الطبقة الأولى من الكوفيين: أبو الهياج الأسدي واسمه عمر بن مالك.
