    ١٠٢٤ - موسى بن على بن محمد الشهير بابن البصيص نجم الدين المجود كاتب المنسوب ولد بحماة سنة ٦٥١ وتعانى المنسوب فاتقنه وكتب الاقلام كلها ثم اخترع قلما سماه المعجز وانتفع به الدمشقيون وكتب هو بخطه كثيرا ورزق الحظوة وكان مع ذلك يعمل بالفأس فى بستانه ويضرب اللبن ويبنى بيده وكان ينظم نظما سافلا عريا عن الاعراب على طريقة الصوفية وكان مامونا عفيفا من شعره * تشفع بالنبى فكل عبد … يجار اذا تشفع بالنبي ولا تجزع اذا ضاقت امور … فكم للّه من لطف خفي مات فى ذى القعدة سنة ٧١٦ *
