٢٥٧ - محمد بن على بن يحيى بن على الغرناطي المعروف بالشامي ولد بغرناطةسنة ٦٧١ وسمع من ابى محمد بن هارون وغيره وقرأ بالسبع على ابى جعفر ابن الزبير وعلى الفخر التوزرى وحج فاقام بالحرمين مدة وحدث وكان اديبا فقيها مشاركا فى عدة فنون يناظر فى الفقه على مذهب مالك والشافعى ويقرئ العربية والفاث وله شعر جيد وله شرح الجمل فى النحو ومدائح نبوية تزيد على القي بيت قال الذهبى ترجمه العفيف المطرى وقال كانت له دنيا يتجر فيها وفيه سنة وايمان مات بالمدينة فى صفر سنة ٧١٥ ومن نظمه قصيدة نبوية * اولها أخاف من ذنب وانت شفيعى … واخاف من جدب وانت ربيعى
