٩٠٧ - محمد بن احمد بن علي بن غدير الواسطى الشيخ شمس الدين ابن غدير المقرئ اخذ القراءات عن العز الفاروثى وصحبه مدة وجاور معه بمكة وسمع من عبد اللّه ابن مروان الفارقى وغيره وكان ماهرا فى القراءات عارفا بطرقها مستحضرا تصدر للاقراء بجامع الحاكم وكان سيئ الخلق بذي اللسان قال الذهبى هو من فضلاء المقرئين على مزاح فيه ولعب وابلغنى عنه سوء سيرة انتهى حضر عنده طالب قراءة فقرب منه فزجره وقال أتقعد منى مقعد القابلة هلا جلست مزجر الكلب مات فى رابع المحرم سنة ٧٣٩ *
