٩٠٤ - محمد بن احمد بن على بن عبد الغنى الرقى المقرئ الحنفى شمس الدين ولد سنة بضع وستين قال المزى هو من ولد عمار بن ياسر وتلا بالسبع على الفاروثى (¬٢) وابن مزهر وغيرهما وسمع من الفخر وابراهيم بنداود بن ظافر (¬١) وعبد الكافى بن عبد الملك الربعي وغيرهم وحدث واقرأ ودرس وافتى قال الذهبى عنى بالسماع ودار على الرواة وتميز فى الفقه والقراءات وروى الكثير قال وكان عالما فاضلا متواضعا تصدر للاقراء وولى مشيخة الاقراء بدار الحديث الاشرفية وجلس مع الشهود مدة ومات في سلخ صفر ودفن غرة ربيع الاول سنة ٧٤٢ وكان تصدر للقراءات بالمدرسة الاشرفية *
