    ٥٩٥ - فياض بن مهنا بن عيسى من مهنا بن نافع بن حديثة الفضلي امير العرب من آل فضل ولى الامرة من الناصر ثم وليها بعد اخيه احمد ثم عزل باخيه حيار فى ايام صرغتمش وكان قد خلع عليه فقام جماعة من التجار وادعوا عليه عند منجك بانهم نهبوا فى قفل عظيم فالزمه بتوفية حقوقهم فجفا فى الكلام فسبه منجك فقال له وانت بدين النصرانية تشتمنى (¬٣) فامر به فقيد وارسله الى سجن الاسكندرية ثم اطلق بعد مدة ووقعت بينه وبين ابن عمه سيف بن مهنا بن فضل بن عيسى وقعة بنواحى حلب انتصر فيها فياض فى سنة ٧٤٠ واعيد فى سنة ستين ودخل مصر ورجع بانعام واكرام ثم خشى من كائنة اتفقت ففر الى العراق ومات هناك فى سنة ٦١ وكان سيئ السيرة *
