(طل). قال محمد بن إسحاق: كان من أصحاب النبي ﷺ، له هجرة وفضل في دينه. ذكره وثيمة بن موسى بن الفرات، وذكر قيامه في همذان خطيبا يحرضهم على الإقامة على الإسلام ويحذرهم الردة، وقال في ذلك أبياتا منها: لعمري لئن مات النبي محمد ... ما (¬٦) مات يا ابن القيل رب محمدوما كان إلا مرسلا برسالة ... فبلغها والحادثات بمرصد دعاه إليه ربه فأجابه ... فيا خير غُوْرِي ويا خير منجد
