    ٣٠١ - علي بن ابى المعالى بن خضر التنوخى المعرى ثم الدمشقى ابو الحسن ولد سنة ٥١ وحمل الى دمشق وهو ابن خمس سنين وحفظ القرآن وتعلم الخياطة وسمع من احمد بن عبد الدائم وابن ابى اليسر وعلى بن الاوحد والمقداد القيسى ويحيى بن ابى منصور وغيرهم وحدث واقرأ الاطفال وكان يلازم الجامع ومن مسموعه على إسماعيل بن ابى اليسر فضل الخليل للقاسم بن عساكر بسماعه منه مات فى رابع جمادى الاولى سنة ٧٣٧ *
