    ١٧٩ - علي بن عثمان بن مصطفى الماردينى الاصل علاء الدين ابن التركمانى الحنفي ولد سنة ٦٨٣ وتفقه وتمهر وافتى ودرس وصنف التصانيف الحافلة ثم ولي القضاء فى شوال سنة ٧٤٨ ونزل بخلعته الى منزل القاضى زين الدين البسطامي الذى كان قبله فلما رآه بهت واستمر علاء الدين فى الوظيفة الى ان مات فى المحرم سنة ٧٥٠ وله من التصانيف غريب القرآن ومختصر ابن الصلاح والجوهر النقي وتخريج احاديث الهدايةومختصر المحصل والكفاية فى مختصر الهداية واشياء كثيرة لم تكمل وله نظم وسط فمنه قصيدة مدح بها الجاولي الدويدار * اولها اذا شغل (¬١) البرية فيك فاها … فكلى عنك بالخيرات فاها
