    ٩٠ - علي بن الحسن بن علي الارموى الشافعى ولد سنة ٦٥٢ أو ٦٥٣ باقصرا وقدم دمشق وسمع بها من الفخر علي السنن الكبير للبيهقىسمعه منه شيخنا ابو الفرج بن الغزى بفوت وسمع عليه ايضا مسند ابى داود الطيالسى وولى مشيخة خانقاه كريم الدين وحدث بالكثير بالقاهرة ومات بها فى خامس ذى الحجة سنة ٧٣٦ قال البدر النابلسى كان عالما عاملا من اهل السنة وكان يقال انه رأى الخضر ﵇ *
