    ٢٩ - علي بن احمد بن عبد الرحمن المراغى ابو الحسن بن ابى القاسم كان ابوه (¬٦) من الصلحاء المشهورين وكان فى ابتداء امره يعرف بابى القاسم الصغير فقال شيخه ابو الحسن ابن الصباغ بل هو ابو القاسم الكبير وقد جمع ابو القاسم جزء امن كلام شيخه وحدث به سمعه منه شيخ شيوخنا بدر الدين (¬٧) الفارقى وكان كثيرا ما ينشد هذا البيت * غرست غروسا رمت اجنى ثمارها … فلا ذنب لى ان حنظلت شجراتها وكان علي يتعانى العزلة والتقنع بالكفاف ويتكسب بضفر الخوصويحكى عنه كرامات وكانت وفاته باخميم سنة ٧١٦ ذكره الكمال جعفر والشيخ ابو القاسم جد شيخنا شمس الدين (¬١) محمد بن محمد بن ابى القاسم المراغي شيخ المالكية بمصر *
