    ٢٥٨٧ - عثمان بن عبد اللّه الصعيدى ثم الحلبونى (¬٣) كان صالحا عابدا متعففا تؤثر عنه احوال واقام مدة ببعلبك ومدة ببرزة (¬٤) وكان لا يأكل الخبز ويزعم انه يتضرر بأكله مات ببعلبك فى المحرم سنة ٧٠٨ (¬٥) قال الذهبى رأيته شيخا مهيبا حسن الهيئة قليل الشيب محفوظ الوقت فيه تأله وصدق وتؤثر عنه احوال وتوجه وتاثير اقام ببعلبك مدة وكان قانعا متعففا حسن الاعتقاد وكان قد ترك أكل الخبز من مدة سنين وكان يقول انه يتضرر بأكله *
