    ١٨٥٧ - سليمان بن علي بن عبد الرحيم بن ابى سليمان سالم بن عبد اللّه بن مراجل الدمشقى تقى الدين ولد سنة ٨٣ وقيل سنة ٨٢ واسمع فى سنة ٦٩٦ من بعض الشيوخ وتعانى الكتابة فى الدواوين واشتهر (¬١) بالصرامة والامانة وولى نظر الجامع (¬٢) فبالغ فى تعميره واصلاح جهاته ثم عزل عنه ثم اعيد وولى نظر الدواوين بدمشق مرة والوزارة بمصر مرة ونظر الاسكندرية مرة وتنقل فى هذه الولايات ثم عاد لنظر الجامع الى ان مات فى ذى القعدة سنة ٧٦٤ *
