    ٨٧٨ - ازبك بن طقطاى القان احد ملوك المغل فى جهة الروم وهى من بحر قسطنطينية الى نهر ارس (¬٢) مسافة ثمانى مائة فرسخ كان جيد الاسلام شجاعا عابدا وكانت وفاته سنة ٧٤٢ ومدة ملكه ١٢ سنة وكان قد صاهر الناصر على اخته وبينهما مكاتبات يقال انه قال لبعض الزها داود لو قتلت لانكم تقولون ان جميع من فى ملكى فى عنقى فاقتل (¬٣) اموت فاستريح وكان فى سنة ٧٢١ قصد ان يغزو بلاد الططر فحذر الناصر *
