٨٥٤ - احمد الاديب المصرى النادرى (¬١) المعروف بسميكة هو الذى يقول فيه المعمار * قالوا سميكة قد هجا … ك وفى هجاك قد اتهمك (¬٢) قلت الخرافى ذقنه … وزنا بارطال السمك ومن قول سميكة يا سادة طاب بهم مدحى … انتم سرورى وبكم فرحى (¬٣) بحقكم لا تعيبوا (¬٤) مدنفا … معودا بالبسط والمزح وسامحوا سميكة ان جنا … وقابلوا بالعفو والصفح ولا تقولوا انه هارب … يأكله الناس بلا ملح وكان كثير الاسراف على نفسه وانصلح قبيل موته واقلع الى ان مات فى الطاعون العام عام تسع واربعين وسبعمائة (٧٤٩) وهو القائل مطلع موشح * بادر لوصل الحبيب بادر … فان وقت الوصال نادر
