    ٨٢٩ - احمد بن يحيى بن محمد بن بدر (¬٦) الجزرى الاصل الدمشقى الصالحىالامام المقرئ المجود الفقيه شهاب الدين الزاهد ابو العباس الحنبلى هكذا ترجمه الذهبى فى طبقات القراء وقال صاحبنا ورفيقنا فى الطلب قرأ القراءات على الشيخ جمال الدين البدوى ولزم الشيخ مجد الدين مدة يبحث عليه ومهر فى الفن واقرأ بسفح قاسيون واصول الفقه وصحب الشيخ شمس الدين ابن مسلم مدة وانتفع به وهو من خيار الناس دينا وعقلا وحياء ومروة وتعففا يعيش من التسبب ومولده قبل السبعين وقد سمع من اصحاب ابن طبرزد وغيرهم وحدث بالاول من افراد ابن شاهين عن جده قرأ عليه تجويدا جماعة وحدث وكان قوالا بالحق زاهدا ومات فى ربيع الاول سنة ٧٢٨ *
