    ٧١٨ - احمد بن محمد بن علان (¬١) القيسى شهاب الدين بن عماد الدين ولد سنة بضع وعشرين وتعانى الادب وقال الشعر واصله من دمشق وسكن حلب وتنقل في الوظائف الى ان ولى كتابة السر بها فى سنة ٧٣ وماتفى سنة ٧٧٤ (¬١) انبأنا ابو جعفر النقيب الحسينى الحلبى اجازة بها (¬٢) قال كنت عند القاضى شهاب الدين ابن علان وكان قبل شخصا يقال له عيسى عمل يوما البنيان فتباطأ فى عمله فانشد * عيسى المهندس لم اجد فيه الذى املته لو كنت ادرى فعله لو مات ما قبلته
