    ٦٠٨ - احمد بن كشتغدى (¬٣) بن عبد اللّه المعزى الصيرفى المصرى ولد فى رمضان وقيل فى ربيع الاول سنة ٦٦٣ وسمع من احمد بن عبد اللّه بن النحاس والمعين احمد بن على الدمشقى والنجيب القيسى وعبد الهادى القيسى وابى حامد ابن الصابونى وغيرهم واجاز له عمر الكرمانى وابن عبد الدائم واحمد بن سلامة وكان سماعه صحيحا واكثر عنه الطلبة وكان مليح الصورة حسن الهيئة طويل الروح فى الاسماع لا يرد من قصده وكان من اجناد الحلقة من اهل الخير والعفاف والوقار اسمعه ابوه واسمع اخاه محمدا حدثنا عنه جماعة من مشايخنا وحدث كثيرا مات فى ١١ صفر سنة ٧٤٤ *
