    ٥٢٢ - احمد بن علم بن محمود بن عمر الحرانى الدمشقى الحنبلى تقى الدين ولد سنة ٦٨٤ واحضر فى الخامسة على الفاضلى وسمع من الزين الفارقى وست الاهل بنت علوان وابن مؤمن والموازينى وابن مشرف والفخر إسماعيل ابن عساكر واسحاق النحاس ومن بعدهم وله اجازة من الفخر ابن البخارى وطلب بنفسه واسمع اولاده قال الذهبى حرص واثبت وحفظ الشاطبية وفيه دين ومروءة وخير وقال ابن رافع كان دينا خيرا ذا مروءة وعقل مات فى ليلة مستهل ذى الحجة سنة ٧٤٢ *
