    ٣٩٥ - احمد بن سليمان الصقلى الفاضل العابد شهاب الدين ابو العباس كان كثير المحبة فى العزلة والتخلق باخلاق السلف وولى خطابة المدينة الشريفة والامامة بها فباشر ذلك وكان يسكن الحسينية بالقرب من جامع آل مالك وله نظم فمنه يا غفلة شاملة للقوم … كأنما يرونها فى النوم ميت غد يحمل ميت اليوموكان لا يجتمع بالناس الا لحظة يسيرة لا يخلو من مواعظه الحسان النافعة رجع من المدينة الى القاهرة سنة ٧٧٨ فمات بها فى ثامن ربيع الآخر منها *
