    ٢٧٠ - احمد بن احمد بن خلف اصله من الجزيرة الخضراء ونشأ بمالقة ولابيه بها حظوة فى الخدم السلطانية كان طالبا فاضلا ذكيا عقد الشروط غير متخذها حرفة قرأ على ابى عمرو بن منظور (¬٢) وتأدب بالشيخ ابى جعفر ابن صفوان المقدم ذكره واخذ عنه فك المعمى واتقن الخط بين يديه ثم انتقل الى غرناطة فارتسم بها فى كتاب الانشاء وكان ينتحل الجندية ويحمل السلاح ويرتزق من الكتابة فى ديوان الجند وشعره وسط * منه (¬٣) *لما رأوا كافى به سألوه من … هذا الذى تهواه او من هذى فاجبتهم ومدا معى تنهل من … خوف غلام من بنى الاستاذ ومات شهيدا فى كائنة الصفتجة من ظاهر حصن الطودون (¬١) في منتصف ذى القعدة سنة ٧٣٠ *
