    ٩٧٨ - [يحيى بن آدم الكوفي] (٢) يحيى بن آدم بن سليمان القرشي مولاهم، مولى خالد بن خالد-ويقال: مولى لآل عقبة بن أبي معيط-أبو زكريا الكوفي، صاحب الثوري. سمع وهب بن خالد، وزهير بن معاوية، وجرير بن حازم، وإسرائيل وغيرهم. وروى عنه إسحاق الحنظلي، وإسحاق ابن نصر وغيرهما. توفي سنة ثلاث ومائتين.
