١٢٩ - ع: جعفر بن حَيَّان أبو الأشهب العُطَاردي (¬١): ذكره ابن المديني في جماعة ذكر أنَّهم لم يلقوا أحدًا من الصحابة، يعني فتكون روايتهم عن الصحابة مرسلة. قال العلائي: وقد أدرك من حياة أنس عشرين سنة، وكان معه بالبصرة (¬٢). قال المُراجع: وأيضاً قال الذهبي عنه "مولده سنة سبعين، فقد أدرك من حياة أنس بضعا وعشرين سنة" (تاريخ الإسلام ١٠/ ٢٩١) فجعفر بن حيان توفي في ١٦٥ هـ وعمره ٩٥ سنة (تقريب التهذيب رقم ٩٣٥) وأنس في ٩٢ هـ على أقل تقدير (تقريب التهذيب رقم ٥٦٥).
