    ٢٨٨٧ - ع: طَارِق بن شِهاب بن عبد شمس بن سَلَمَة البَجَلِيّ الأَحْمَسِيّ الكوفيّ. أدْرَك الجاهلية، ورأى النبي ﷺ، وروى عنه لفظةً، وغَزَا في خلافة الصِّدِّيق. وروى عن أبي بكر، وعُمَر، وعَليّ، وابن مَسْعُود، وأبي موسى وجماعة. وعنه قَيْس بن مُسْلِم، وعَلْقَمة بن مَرْثَد، وإسماعيل بن أبي خالد وجماعة. وَثَّقَه ابن مَعِين كما رأيتهُ في الجرح والتعديل (¬١) لابن أبي حاتم، ووثَّقَه غيره. وقال خَلِيفة وغيره: مات سنة (٨٢).وقال الفَلّاس سنة (٣) (¬١). وقال محمد بن عبد الله بن نُمَير: سنة (٨٤). وذكره ابن حِبَّان في الصَّحَابة في الثقات، وقال: مات سنة (٨٣).
