    ٢٥١٥ - م، د، س، ق: سُليمان بن عَتِيق، قال المزيّ: ويُقال: عَتِيك (¬١) المَكِّيّ. تَنْبِيه: قال مغلطاي: هو وهم، فيه نظر؛ لأنِّي لم أرَ من ذكره بالكاف من المترجمين والمؤَرِّخين وغيرهم فينظر واللّه أعلم. عن جابر، وابن الزُّبَير، وطلق بن حبيب. وعنه حُمَيْد بن قَيْس، وابن جُرَيْج، وزياد بن سَعْد وآخرون. وثَّقَه النَّسَائِيّ. له في الكتب حديثان، أمر بِوَضع الجَوائح (¬٢)، وألَا هَلَكَ المُتَكبِّرُون والمُتَنَطِّعُون (¬٣).ذكره ابن حبَّان في الثقات. وذكره في الميزان، فقال: قال "خ" لا يصح حديثه (¬١)، وقال "س" ثقة مَكِيٌّ.
