    ٢٤٦١ - ق: سُلَيمَان بن تَوْبَة، ويُقَال: سَلْمَان بن تَوْبَة النَّهْرَوانِيّ البَغْدَادِيّ أبو داود. عن أبي بَدْر السَّكُونِيّ - وقد تقَدَّم أن السَّكُون بفتح السِّين المهملة - وشبَابَة، ورَوْح بن عُبَادَة، وعَاصِم بن عَلِيّ، ويزيد بن هَارُون وخلق. وعنه "ق" ومحمد بن المُسَيَّب الأرغِيَانِيّ، وابن صَاعِد، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي حاتم وجماعة. وثَّقَه الدَّارقُطْنِيّ (¬١)، مات سنة (٢٦١ هـ). ذكرة ابن حِبَّان في سَلْمَان (¬٢) بغير ياء في ثقاته.
