    ٢٤٣٢ - د، س، ق: سَلَمَة بن المُحَبَّق - هو بِضَمِّ الميم وفتح الحاء المهملة، وفتح الموحَّدَة المُشَدَّدَة، ثم قاف، اسم مفعول، وكذا أحفظه،وضبطه النَّووي في شرح المُهَذّب بفتح الباء وكسرها (¬١)، ورأيتُ في حاشية بخط بعض المُحَدِّثين الدماشقة ما لفظه: المُحَدِّثُون يَفْتَحُون الباء، والصَّوَاب كسرها قاله غير واحد، منهم ابن الجَوْزِيّ انتهى (¬٢) - وقيل: سَلَمَة بن رَبِيعة بن المُحَبَّق، واسمه صَخْر، وقيل غير ذلك - أبو سِنَان الهُذلِيّ، صَحَابِيّ نَزَل البَصْرَة. وعنه ابنه سِنان، وقَبِيصة بن حُرَيْث، وجَوْن بن قَتَادَة، والحَسَن البَصْرِيّ وغيرهم.
