    ٢١١٩ - ع: سالم أبو الغَيث المَدَنِيّ مَوْلَى عبد الله بن مُطيع بن الأسْوَد العَدَويّ. عن أبي هريرَةَ. وعنه ثَوْر بن زيد، وصَفْوان بن سُلَيْم - بضمِّ السِّين، وفتح اللّام، وعثمان بن عمر التَّيميّ ويزيد بن خُصَيْفة وجماعة. وثَّقه ابن مَعين والنَّسائيّ (¬١). وذكره ابن حِبَّان في الثقات. وذكره في الميزان، فقال فيه: قال أبو عبد الله بن الحَذّاء في رجال مالك: قال ابن مَعين: لا أعرف اسمه، وليس بثقة (¬٢)، وقال مَرَّة أخرى: هو ثقة انتهى.
