    ٢٠٤١ - خ، ٤: زيد بن أَخْزَم - بالخاء والزَّاي المعجمتين - أبُو طالب الطَّائيّ النَّبْهَانِيّ البَصْرِيّ الحافظ. عن يحيى القَطَّان، وسَلْم بن قُتَيْبَة، ومُعاذ بن هشَام، ويَزيد بن هَارُون وطبقتهم. وعنه: "خ، ٤"، وأحمد بن عَمْرو البَزَّار - بالرَّاء في آخرِه، وقد تقدَّمَ ضبطُه غير مَرَّة، ولماذَا نُسِبَ (¬١)، وزكريَّا السَّاجيّ، وَأبُو عَرُوبَة، والمَحَامِلِيّ وابن خُزَيْمَة وَخَلْق. وَثَّقَةُ أبو حاتم وغيره (¬٢). قَتَلَتْهُ الزَّنْج إِذ استباحوا البصرة سنة (٢٥٧ هـ). وذكرهُ ابن حِبَّان في الثِّقات، وقال: مستقيم الحديث، مات بعد (٢٥٠ هـ).
