    ١٩٩٣ - ع: زِيَاد بن جُبَيْر بن حَيَّة - بفتح الحاء المهملة وتشديد المُثَنَّاة تحت باسم الدَّابَّة الخَبِيثة - الثَّقَفِيّ. عن أبيه، وسَعْد بن أبي وقَّاص، وابن عُمَر وغيرهم. وعنه ابنا أخيه سَعِيد، ومُغيرة ابنا عُبَيْد الله بن جُبَيْر، ويُونُس بن عْبَيْد، وابن عَوْن، ومُبَارك بن فَضَالَة. وثَّقه أحمد وغيره (¬١). وذكره ابن حِبّان في الثقات. تَنْبِيه: زياد هذا له في "خ" م" عن ابن عُمَر، وذكر أبو زُرْعَة، وأبو حاتم أنَّ حديثَه عن سَعْد بن أبي وَقَّاص مُرْسل (¬٢) انتهى.
