١٨٥٩ - م، س: رَبِيعة بن كُلْثُوم بن جَبْر - الظَّاهر أنّه بفتح الجيم وبالمُوَحَّدة البَصْريّ. عن أبيه، والحسن، وبكر بن عبد الله.وعنه يحيى بن يحيى، وعبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث، وحَجَّاج بن مِنْهال، وعَفَّان وطائفة. وَثَّقه ابن مَعِين. وقال أحمد: صالح (¬١). له في مسلم حديث واحد، وذكره ابن حِبّان في الثقات. ذكره في الميزان، وذكر توثيق ابن مَعِين له، قال: وقال أبو حاتم: صالح، وقال "س" ليس بالقَوِيّ، وقال أيضًا: ليس به بأس، وقد ذكره ابن عَدِيّ في الكامل، وقال: ليس له من الحديث إِلّا اليسير (¬٢).
