    ١٨٤٢ - م، د، ت، س الرَّبِيع - مثل الَّذِي قبله - ابن مسلم القُرَشِيّ الجُمَحِيّ أبو بكر البَصْرِي. عن الحسن، ومحمد بن زياد القرشي، وعَامِر بن طِهْفَة وجماعة. وعنه يحيى القَطَّان، وابن مَهْدِيّ، وابن المُبارَك، ومسلم بن إِبراهيم، وأبو الوليد الطَّيَالِسِيّ، وحَفِيده عبد الرحمن بن بكر بن الرَّبيع وخلق. وثَّقَه أحمد، وأبو حاتم. قال أبو داود: هو أروى النَّاس عن محمد بن زياد. وقال ابن أبي عاصم: مات سنة (١٦٧). ذكره ابن حِبَّان في الثقات.
