    ١٨٣٩ - س: الرَّبِيع - مثل الَّذِي قبله - ابن لُوط الأنصارِيّ الكوفيّ. عن البَرَاء بن عَازِب، وقَيْس بن مُسْلم. وعنه محمد بن عَمْرو بن عَلْقمة، وشُعْبَة، وابن جُرَيْج، وابن عُيَيْنَة وطائفة. وَثَّقَه "س". وذكره ابن حِبَّان في الثقات وقال: ابن أخي البراء بن عازب. وذكره في الميزان، فذكر أنّ "س" وَثَّقه، ثم قال: أخطأ من لَيَّنه (¬١)، وقول السبتي في تذييله: ليس إِسناده بذاك إِنّما قاله "خ" في ربيع بن لوط (¬٢).
