    ١٨٠٩ - د: رَافِع بن مَكِيث - تَقَدَّم (¬١) أنّ مَكِيثًا بفتح الميم وكسر الكاف، ثم مُثَنَّاة تحت ساكنة، ثم ثاء مثلثة - الجُهَنِيّ. شَهِد الحُدَيَبِيَّة، وكان حامل لواء (¬٢) لِجُهَيْنة يوم الفتح، وولي صدقات قومه للِنَّبِيّ ﷺ. روى عنه ابنه الحارث. وشهد غَزْوَة دومة الجَنْدل مع عبد الرحمن بن عَوْف، فأرسله إِلى النَّبِيّ ﷺ بَشيرًا بالفتح، له حديث، وهو حُسْن الملكة نماء وسُوء الخلق شُؤم (¬٣). (¬٤).
