    ١٧٧٠ - ق: دَفَّاع - بِتَشْديد الفاء، بن دَغْفَل أبو رَوْح البَصْرِيّعن عبد الحميد بن صيفي. وعنه محمد بن أبي بكر المُقَدَّمِيّ، وعُمَر بن الخَطَّاب الرَّاسِبِيّ وجماعة. ضَعَّفَه أبو حاتم. وذكره ابن حِبّان في الثقات. له حديث في الخِضَاب (¬١). ذكره في الميزان، وذكر تَضْعيف أبي حاتم، وتوثيق ابن حِبَّان له، واللّه أعلم.
