    ١٧٦٠ - تمييز: داود بن يزيد الثَّقَفِيّ بَصرِيّ. ذكره في الميزان هو وداود الصَّفَّار، ثم قال: مجهولان (¬٣)، ثم قال: أمّا الثقفيّ فيروي عن عاصم بن بَهْدَلَة، وحَبِيب المُعلّم انتهى. ذكر داود هذا ابن يزيد فيما يظهر ابنُ حِبَّان في ثقاته، فقال: داود بن يزيد الثَّقَفِيّ من أهل البصرة، يروي عن بِشْر بن حَرْب، وعاصم بن بَهْدَلة، روى عنه قُتَيْبَة بن سَعِيد انتهى، واللّه أعلم.
