١٧٣٠ - ت، س: داود بن شَابُور - بالشين المعجمة، وهذا ظاهر يُعْرَف من الرُّتْبَة - المَكِّيّ. عن أبي قَزَعَة سوَيْد بن حُجَيْر - بتقديم الحاء المَضْمومة على الجيم، وهذا معروف أيضًا، وطاؤس، ومجاهد، وعَمْرو بن شُعَيب وجماعة. وعنه شُعْبَة، وابن عُيَيْنَة، وداود العَطَّار وآخرون. وَثَّقَه أبو زُرْعة وجماعة (¬١)، منهم ابن حِبَّان ذكره في ثقاته، وقال: وقد قيل إِنّه داود بن عبد الرحمن بن شَابُور.
