    ١٧٠٩ - خ، د، ت: خَلَّاد بن يحيى بن صَفْوان. أبو محمد السُّلَمِيّ الكوفيّ نزيل مكة. عن عبد الواحد بن أَيْمَن، ومالك بن مغْوَل، وبشْر بن المُهَاجر، ومِسْعَر وطبقتهم. وعنه "خ"، ومحمد بن إِسحاق الصَّاغَانيّ، وأبو زرْعَة، وبِشْر بن مُوسى وخلق. قال أبو داود: ليس به بأس.وقال محمد بن عبد الله بن نُمَيْر: صَدُوق، في حديثه غلط قليل. وقال أبو حاتم: محله الصِّدق، ليس بذاك المعروف (¬١). قال حَنْبَل: مات سنة (٢٢٠). وذكره في الميزان، وصحح عليه، وذكر كلام أبي داود فيه، وكلام ابن نُمير، وكلام أبي حاتم، ثم أرّح وفاته بسنة (٢٢٠) قال: وقيل: سنة [٢١٧] (¬٢) وقيل: سنة (١٢) (¬٣).
