١٥٥٠ - خ، د، ت، ق: حَيْوَة بن شُرَيْح - مثل الذي قبله - بن يزيد الحضرمي، أبو العباس الحمصي. عن أبيه، وإسماعيل بن عيّاش، وبقية، [و] (¬٢) ابن حرب، والوليد بن مسلم، وجماعة. وعنه "خ"، وأحمد، وابن معين، وهما من أقرانه، ومحمد بن يحيىوالدارمي (¬١)، وعثمان الدارمي، ومحمد بن إسماعيل الترمذي، وخلق. وثقه ابن معين وغيره، ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات، وقال: مات سنة (٢٢٤) انتهى. وكان من حُفّاظ الحديث بحمص. تنبيه: قال أحمد بن حنبل: لم يسمع من الزهري، ولا من بُكير بن الأشج، ولا من خالد بن أبي عمران شيئًا (¬٢).
