١١١٦ - د ت سي ق: حجاج بن دينار الواسطي الأشجعي وقيل: الأسلمي.عن معاوية بن قرة، والحكم بن عتيبة، وأبي جعفر محمد بن علي، وجماعة. وعنه شعبة، وإسرائيل، وعيسى بن يونس، ويعلى بن عبيد، وطائفة. قال أحمد، وابن معين: ليس به بأس (¬١)، وقال أبو حاتم: لا يحتج به (¬٢)، وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. وذكره في الميزان، فذكر ما نقلته عن أحمد، وابن معين، وأبي حاتم وزاد: وقال الدارقطني: ليس بالقوي، وقد وثقه ابن المبارك، ويعقوب بن شيبة، والعِجلي.
