    ٩٣٧ - خ م د ت س: الجَعْد بن عبد الرحمن بن أوس الكِنْدِيّ، ويُقال: [التَّيْميّ] (¬٢) وقد يُنْسَبُ إلى جَدِّه، ويُقال له: الجُعيد (¬٣) أيضًا.عن السّائب بن يزيد، وعائشة بنت سعد ويزيد بن خُصَيْفة وغيرهم. وعنه يحيى القطّان، وحاتم بن إسماعيل، والدَّراوَرْدِيّ وجماعة. وَثَّقه ابن مَعِين (¬١) وغيره، منهم ابن حِبَّان، ذكره في ثقاته، قال مكّي بن إبراهيم: سمعتُ منه سنة (١٤٤) (¬٢).
