٩٠٦ - م د ت ق: جبر بن نَوْف البِكَاليّ - قال ابن قرقول في نوف: أكثر المحدثين يفتحون الباء ويُشدّدُون الكاف، وآخره لام، وكذا قيّدناه عن أبي بحر، وابن أبي جعفر عن العُذْرِي، وكذا قاله أبو ذرّ، وقُيّد عن المُهلّب بكسر الباء، وكذلك عن الصّدَفي وأبي الحسين بن سراج بتخفيف الكاف وهو الصّواب، نسبة إلى بِكال من حمير (¬٢) انتهى - أبو الودّاك الكوفيّ. عن أبي سعيد الخُدريّ، وشُريح القاضي.وعنه عليّ بن أبي طلحة، وقيس بن وهب، ويونس بن أبي إسحاق وغيرهم. وثّقه ابن معين.
