٥٦٣ - د ت سي: أشعث بن عبد الرحمن الجرميّ. تنبيه: قال الحافظ علاء الدين مُغْلطاي: قال المِزِّيّ: إنّ الأشعث بن عبد الرحمن جَرْميٌّ أزديٌّ، اعترض عليه، فإنّ جَرْم بن ربان بن حلوان بن عمران بن إلحاف بن قُضاعة لا يجتمع مع الأزد بن الغوث بن نبت بن مالك بن زيد بن كهلان بن سبأ، والله أعلم انتهى (¬١). بصريٌّ، يروي عن أبيه وأبي قلابة. وعنه حمَّاد بن سلمة. وثَّقه ابن معين (¬٢)، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في الثقات.
