٥٤٠ - ع: الأسود بن قيس العبديّ، وقيل: البجليّ الكوفيّ. عن جُنْدب بن عبد الله، وثَعْلبة بن عِباد - بكسر العين وبالمُوَحَّدة المخففة كجمع عبد - وسعيد بن عمرو بن سعيد وجماعة. وعنه شُعبة والسُّفْيانان، وزهير بن معاوية، وأبو عوانة، وعبيدة - بفتحالعين وكسر المُوحَّدة - ابن حُميد - بضم الحاء - وطائفة. وَثَّقه "س" وغيره، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في الثقات، ونسبه البجليّ.
