٥٠٨ - ٤: إسماعيل بن كثير - بفتح الكاف وكسر المثلّثة - أبو هاشم المكِّي. عن سعيد بن جبير، ومجاهد، وعاصم بن لقيط بن صبِرَة (¬١). وعنه الثوري، وابن جريج، ويحيى بن سليم الطائفي وجماعة. وثَّقه أحمد (¬٢) وغيره، وقال أبو حاتم: صالح الحديث (¬٣)، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في الثقات.
