٤٩٢ - د ت س: إسماعيل بن عبد الله بن سماعة أبو عبد الله الدمشقي مولى آل عمر بن الخطاب. عن الأوزاعيّ، وموسى بن أعين. وعنه أبو مُسهر، وهشام بن إسماعيل العطَّار، وعمران بن يزيد الدمشقيُّون. وثّقه "س" وغيره. وقال أبو حاتم: كان من أصحاب الأوزاعيّ وأقدمهم، وقال أبو مسهر:كان من الفاضلين (¬١)، ذكره ابن حِبَّان في ثقاته (¬٢).
