[٩٢٨٩/ ٧٩٥٨] (د ق) أم جندب الأزدية لها صحبة. وعنها: ابنها سليمان بن عمرو بن الأحوص، وعبد الله بن شداد بن الهادي، وأبو يزيد مولى عبد الله بن الحارث. ذكرها ابن حبان وابن عبد البر، والذهبى فى "تجريده" ولفظه: أم جندب الأزدية، لها حديث في "المسند" فى رمي الجمار ولعلها التي قبلها، والتي ذكرها، قبلها أم جندب والدة سليمان بن عمرو لها حديث. ذكره ابن منده انتهى. وقد جزم في غير موضع بأن أم جندب هى أم سليمان بن عمرو بن الأحوص، وقال في التي قبلها: إنها والدة سليمان. والله أعلم. • تنبيه: من يقال لها: أم جندب من الصحابيات غير من ذكرت جماعة نكبت عن ذكرهن خوف التطويل.
