    [٨٨٠١/ ٧٥٧٩] (س ق) أبو كاهل الأحمسى: له صحبة رأى النبي ﷺ يخطب يوم العيد على ناقة. يقال: قيس بن عايذ - بمثناة تحت وذال معجمة - وقيل: عبد الله بن مالك. روى إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن أخيه - واسم أخيه سعيد، وقيل: أشعث - عنه. وقيل: عنه بلا واسطة في "الاستيعاب" وفى "تجريد الذهبي" مات زمن الحجاج.
