[٨١٠٩/ ٧٠٢٠]- (ت ق) يزيد بن عبد الرحمن بن الأسود الأودى الزعافري، أبو داود الكوفى. عن: على، وأبى هريرة، وعدى بن حاتم، وجابر بن سمرة. وعنه: ابناه داود، وإدريس، ويحيى بن الهيثم العطار. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: يزيد بن عبد الرحمن الزعافرى، وقد قيل إنه يزيد بن عبد الله .. إلى أن قال: وهو الذي يروى عنه الحسن بن عُبيد الله فيقول عن أبي داود الأودى، ولا يسميه انتهى.
