    [٧٦٢٢/ ٦٦٠٤]- (تمييز) هنَّاد بن السرى بن يحيى بن السرى بن مصعب، أبو السرى التميمي الكوفى ابن ابن أخى المذكور قبله. يروى عن: أبيه، وأبى سعيد الأشج. وعنه: ابن أخيه، أبو بكر أحمد بن محمد بن السرى، وأبو حاتم محمد بن علي الوشّاء، وأبو مسلم عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن شهدل الأصبهاني، والقاضي أبو عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الله الجعفى، وغيرهم. قال محمد بن أحمد بن حماد بن سفيان الحافظ: كان ثقة عسرًا كتبت عنه، مات سنة (٣٣١).
